Dear All,
I am pretty new to microcontroller programming. I am using the DS89C450 MCU and need to capture an unknown frequency/period of a square wave and store it into the MCU ROM area.
I read the user guide and saw this capture mode in Timer 2 and thought that it can be used to capture the period of a square wave.
Can I know how exactly does this capture function works? How to program timer 2 to capture the frequency of a square wave ranging from 30 to 50kHz?
