HI GUYS; how fast is tcpip?????? i mean like i know what i2c means and spi means but is tcpip same or can it go faster?????
Oops. What do you know about TCP/IP?
What is the difference between 10baseT and 100baseTX? How fast is a gbit link? How fast is a 10gbit link?
How long is a piece of string?!
Your question is like asking, "How fast is a suitcase?" - the answer depends on whether that suitcase is on a bicycle, in a car, on a plane, or whatever...
Note that the correct spelling is TCP/IP - you will get better googling results with that...
Speed? Warp nine!
it is not fast, it is not slow, it is neither TCP/IP is a protocol not a transmission media. the speed will depend on the transmission media.
Erik
Just as I2C have several speed standards (and supporting arbitrary slower speeds).
And SPI don't even have a speed standard - every single SPI device has its own maximum speed given in the datasheet.
a transmission medium
"a transmission medium"
Exactly. It all depends on if the transmission is rare, medium or well done ;)
"how fast is tcpip??????"
it is TOO DAMN fast!
I somehow suspect that the OP's transmission may be not very well done...
except on poor days - when it is too damn SLOW!!
