when i build the target program i get the error message
error:C249 DATA SEGMENT TOO LARGE i am using evaluation version of Keil. how can i rectify the error.
i am using AT89S52 microcontroller.
Isn't that obvious simply from reading the text of the message?

How would you solve any problem due to anything being, "too large"...??

Makes me think about a guy who couldn't fit all gear in the trunk/boot. He kept repeating to try to close it until he had managed large enough dents in the metal to make the gear fit. There were lots of old dents visible, so it wasn't the first time he used that method to solve a problem ;)
I think that might better be described as a "workaround" rather than a "solution"...?

if you force more DATA into the chip than it is designed to hold you get an ugly bulge on the plastic case.
