Dear Friends I have installed uVision 4 on my laptop (OS is windows7). when i see device database under File menu, all 8051 varient microcontrollers are available. but when i want to creat a project or when i want to select a device for a particular project i'm not finding the 8051 family controllers list. please tell me is it possible to create a project for 8051 family microcontrollers or not ? if possible tell me how can i do it ?
Are you sure you installed the C51 tools - not ARM, C251, or something else...?
