help on coding for 8051 stepper motor controller projects

I need to work on the motor controller related project using 8051 core microcontroller. Are there any C code sample for microstepping control? I 'd like to use one of low cost dual stepper motor driver board at http://www.wzmicro.com They only have assembly code sample with the board.
