Request for forum feature

The original thread with a request for forum improvements is dead because of a bug in the forum system, so I'll just have to start a new one.

Anyway, one feature that would be nice to have is to have every thread display a list of references to the thread.

So if I would post a link to another thread in this thread, then that other thread would show a reverse link to this thread.

Let's say someone is discussing an USB problem and someone gives an answer and adds a note: "See also xx's answer here: xxx". If googling and entering any of these two threads, it would be nice to be able to know about both of them.

It is also quite common that people manages to create multiple threads for the same problem. Sometimes, half the answers are given in one thread and half of the answers in the other thread. Right now, some forum user has to add a post linking A->B and another post linking B->A.

Another thing is that the Keil FAQ pages links to a number of articles. But for a specific issue - such as a linking problem - the FAQ page often links to multiple forum threads. It would be nice if someone who googled and reached one of the threads could see a link to the relevant FAQ page and hence be able to see the references to other forum threads covering the same issue.

If the forum code can scan through a post and locate html references, it should be possible to scan through all posts in the database and check which of these html references that leads to other Keil forum threads to set up the cross-index.
