Read-Only Author Raidera Borobeck Chive Posted 8-Feb-2010 10:23 GMT Toolset None | My project is overdue Raidera Borobeck Chive Hi guys, Does anyone know what is the thermal sensor on ordinary Ð4 paper laminators? It si look like a diode? Does anyone have a circuit of any A4 paper laminator? Can it be a bi metalic strip? Can they be connected to a processor? or will it be to hot? If i get the emulation copy will it have example code? Will there be one for laminator driver? Can the processor run from the 110V-200V current? Is C fast enough for a project like this? I will ask more questions later.

Try an IGBT :-) > or will it be to hot? if running on 200V, oh yes, it will :-) > If i get the emulation copy will it have example code? Evaluation Version of course has massive Examples inside. > Will there be one for laminator driver? Let me have a look ... *searchRunning* ... No I think not :-) > Can the processor run from the 110V-200V current? For a very very short time ... What is 200V current? 200VA ? > Is C fast enough for a project like this? If your C is fast enough for a project like this, C is fast enough for a project like this. > I will ask more questions later. I will try to answer more questions later... |

Read-Only Author Raidera Borobeck Chive Posted 9-Feb-2010 08:12 GMT Toolset None | Thanks for the answers. I read them all. Raidera Borobeck Chive Just a few more questions. I am now looking for an 8-bit microcontroller without external oscillator and capacitors and could execute at clock frequency of at least 8MHz and better above this frequency? could anybody recommend me some microcontroller series that do not require external oscillator and could operate at high speed of 8MHz or better? Can it be programmed in C? Can I put a spare oscillator on it if failing? Will it have to many spare legs? If i decide to do an A5 laminator will the code be smaller? What other languages are considered for a project? And lastly is an arm better? |

Read-Only Author Raidera Borobeck Chive Posted 9-Feb-2010 20:36 GMT Toolset None | Than ks for ythe answer. I read it all. Raidera Borobeck Chive FINALLY I now have more questions? Can anybody explain the advantage of these Micro. types? I have this problem trying to build hex from asm, with my IDE. It won’t create a hex file? If it shows me the problem BUILD FAILED what does it mean? Can someone help? This is a working project downloaded from EPE Magazine. so I know it works. Anybody know the problem and how to fix it? |

Al Bradford You need to tell us what failed and what the actual error message reads. My crystal ball is not calibrated to your posts. Look at the SiLabs C8051F... devices. Most run with no crystal and most will run faster than 8 MHz. Bradford |

Read-Only Author Andy Neil Posted 9-Feb-2010 23:24 GMT Toolset None | This is a working project from EPE Magazine Andy Neil I think you must've lost a page or two - maybe they got stuck in the laminator...? Or maybe you put them through the shredder by mistake?! |
