Hello all,
im working with LPC2368 trying to make it appear in windows as virtual COM port. Is there any example on that? I have seen examples for HID device and mass storage but im not really getting how to put it as serial line. Anyone can help? Thanks
try here (I'm using MDK 4.00):
..\Keil\ARM\Boards\Keil\MCB2300\USBCDC
You are absolutely right. I missed it. Its working. Thanks a lot. Just im using Windows7 currently and the drivers are not recognized by W7. Is there some new *.inf file that i can use for W7? Or can I just simply modify the current one?
Resp. the problem is more in x64 architecture then in windows 7 itself... I have no experiences with drivers for windows. Is it possible to rewrite x86 inf file into x64?
Yes. You need to replicate sections that contain .nt in the name for each architecture: .NTx86 (same as .nt) .NTia64 .NTamd64 (replace .nt with architecture name).
See here: msdn.microsoft.com/.../ms790170.aspx and here: msdn.microsoft.com/.../ms790171.aspx
May it need to replicate also [DeviceList] section.
