Read-Only Author Andy Neil Posted 29-Jun-2009 09:46 GMT Toolset C51 | What are you talking about?! Andy Neil What does "8-bit crazeyness" have to do with "simulate a 50MA to 1200MA load { at up to 20KHZ } in SOURCE" ?? First of all, Do you really mean 50MA - ie, 50 mega-amps; 5000000A - or do you mean 50mA - ie, 50 milli-amps ? And how, exactly, do you want to "simulate" it? What will be the inputs to your simulation? What will be the outputs from your simulation? Why did you pick an 8051 to do it? |

Read-Only Author Per Westermark Posted 29-Jun-2009 11:26 GMT Toolset C51 | RE: What are you talking about?! Per Westermark If all he is going to do is simulate - as he says - then it is enough to download some Spice code and run. It's trivial to simulate a perfectly resistive potentiometer capable enough of handling these currents. |

Read-Only Author Neil Kurzman Posted 29-Jun-2009 21:06 GMT Toolset C51 | RE: What are you talking about?! Neil Kurzman ignoring the bad jokes and poor title. Your question is vague. Do you want to build a real circuit? or just simulate? Do you want to source 50 to 1200 milliamps? or sink it? 20 KHz is that the sample frequency or is you source / sink AC? square or sine wave? What is the 8 bit CPU supposed to do in this project? |
