Read-Only Author MM MM Posted 19-Nov-2008 21:54 GMT Toolset C166 | Keypad on P0H MM MM Hi Since I am using P0H to connect my keypad, I am assuming that I don't require 4 pull-up resistors for 4 lines of columns on P0H0 to P0H3 due to internal pull-up resistors. Hence four lines of row will be output while inpurs will be on columns. Should I capable of scanning the keypad correctly? Please let me know asap Regards MM | | Read-Only Author MM MM Posted 19-Nov-2008 21:57 GMT Toolset C166 | RE: Keypad on P0H MM MM I just want to sure because I normally don't use pull resistors on columns in my AVR microcontroller project as ports have internal pull-resistors. | | Read-Only Author MM MM Posted 20-Nov-2008 17:21 GMT Toolset C166 | RE: Keypad on P0H MM MM Sorry for not specifying which microcontroller chip I am using. I am using XC161CJ. Suppose I want to read input of rows, should I use pull-up and down resistors? MM | |
