I have just updated to C51 8.12 and now get this error with every
C file in the project. I cannot find reference to this warning in the
knowledge base. Only unrelated ones to dongles/ports that are not
relevent. I do not use a dongle.
I am using properly licensed software renewed in Dec'07. I have
installed another update, 8.11a, previous to this one. No problems at
all in that instance.
Why has updating to 8.12 caused these warnings? How do I stop
these warnings? Over the top stratergies such as lowering the warning
level don't help. Neither can I find any way of disabling individual
warnings in the C51 compiler.
This is really annoying and makes solving other problems more
difficult. Not only has this update borked the compilation it 'lost'
my configuration as well. Even when I specifically ticked the box
'keep'.
Thanks
