JTAG Communication fails

 JTAG Communication fails

Hi all,

after a few weeks of not working with the MCBSTR9 I tried to install some new software yesterday.

The last uploaded software did not work the way intended. All the board does is to light the LED #2 and fill the first row in the LCD.

When I try to download any other programme now I get "JTAG Communication Failure".

So I followed the instructions of http://www.keil.com/support/docs/3215.htm to no avail. Sometimes I even get the error before releasing the reset button.

Is it possible that I fried the CPU? Has anyone experienced the same problem? Any hints for testing the general functionality of the uC?
