New! one-wire library for dallas devices

Has a library been written? I'm mainly interested in the Search ROM command which will allow the code to detect how many devices are on the bus.

Yes - free, processor-independent source code is available from Maxim.

It's on their website.

Note that Maxim has decided to "retire" the Dallas Semiconductor name and is in the process of changing logos on all documents to Maxim instead of Dallas Semiconductor / Maxim.
