ARM-Based Systems Conference

Munich, Germany — Oct 8, 2014–Oct 9, 2014

ARM Based Conference

Just a week after the ARM TechCon in Santa Clara, USA, the German electronics media DESIGN&ELEKTRONIK and Elektronik (organizer of the embedded world Conference) offer the annual Conference for ARM-based system design in Munich.

Over the past years ARM cores have evolved into an industry standard – very few microcontroller and microprocessor vendors are lacking ARM processor-based devices in their portfolios today. As new design projects are focusing mainly on the latest ARM Cortex® architectures, design engineers are facing the challenge to get their knowledge of the broad ARM processor portfolio up to date. The Conference for ARM-based system design is the ideal platform for this knowledge update.

Dr. Krisztian Flautner, Vice President Research & Development ARM, presents on 9. October 2014 his keynote on the topic Internet of Things and explains how this applies to industrial and automotive applications.

Other ARM speakers at this event cover the following topics:

  • Cortex-M – The best fitting architecture for my application: Dr. Ian Johnson
  • CMSIS – faster Software Development using software components such as DSP Library: Christopher Seidl
  • Benchmarking of Microcontrollers: Joseph Yiu
  • ARM big.LITTLE Technology: Why? What? How?: Kinjal Dave
  • Real-time hypervisors for safer control systems: Chris Turner
  • Building High End, Low Power Wearable SoCs using Application Processors: Kinjal Dave
