Elektronik magazine are holding a two day conference focused on ARM processor-based systems and the tools needed for microcontroller development. This is a technical conference aimed at hardware and software developers, system engineers and field application engineers.

The event will open with a keynote presentation from Jim Nicholas, VP Marketing, ARM Processor Division. There will be an overview of the ARM® Cortex-M series processor technology and presentations and panel discussions from industry experts including ARM, NXP, Freescale and many more.

ARM will be demonstrating the breadth of the ARM processor portfolio along with the ARM Development Studio 5 (DS-5) toolchain and Keil, MDK-ARM development kit tools available to enable swift and easy ARM processor-based systems design.

ARM will be presenting the following topics:

  • Designing Safe Embedded Systems with ARM processors: Chris Turner
  • Advantages of Replacing a Finite State Machine (FSM) with a General Purpose Processor: Joseph Yiu
  • Technical Overview of the ARM Cortex-M0+ Processor: Joseph Yiu
  • Low Power Techniques for 32-bit MCU Systems: Joseph Yiu
  • Which Cortex-M Processor fits best to your application? Joseph Yiu
  • Software Concepts with Cortex-M Devices: Reinhard Keil
  • Debugging of Cortex-M microcontrollers with CoreSight: Matthias Hertel
