Microcontroller applications with CMSIS componentsNuremberg, Germany — Feb 25, 2014 Click Here for More Information... The Microcontroller applications with CMSIS components workshop will introduce the use of a small footprint Real Time Operating System on a ARM® Cortex®-M processor-based microcontroller and you will learn how to create a microcontroller application with Cortex Microcontroller Software Interface Standard (CMSIS) components. Throughout the course we will use the CMSIS-RTOS API which is designed to be a standard software interface for operating systems running on Cortex-M microcontrollers. Training is based around a number of practical examples using Keil MDK-ARM™ development tools. With the availability of ever more capable microcontrollers, software development for these devices has become more complex over the years. Use of real-time operating systems is rapidly becoming an industry best practice, and usage of commercial middleware as well as reuse of custom libraries is gaining importance for cost-efficient software engineering. Successfully combining these building blocks of a modern embedded application often poses a problem for developers. >
