Logic Technology will be holding a one day workshop to introduce the ARM® Cortex™ microcontroller. During the workshop, you will learn about the features of the Cortex-M0, Cortex-M3, and the Cortex-M4 microcontroller architecture.

Workshop Overview

ARM Cortex microcontroller Core:
Learn the basics of the Cortex-M0 and Cortex M3 cores and Cortex Microcontroller Software Interface Standard (CMSIS). Understand the basics of standard microcontroller devices from Atmel, Luminary, NXP, ST, TI, and Toshiba.

Hands-on training:
Work through practical exercises and learn about the functionality of modern software development tools. Discover the extensive debugging features available for Cortex-M microcontrollers, using ULINK2 and ULINKpro.

Middleware for ARM microcontroller:
Through hands-on training, discover how real-time communication systems are designed. This section includes an introduction to solutions for Ethernet, TCP/IP, CAN, USB Device communications, and Flash File System.

Workshop packages and prices
The workshop includes the use of an evaluation board (MCB1760 or MCBSTM32C) and a ULINK2 or ULINKpro adapter. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please refer to the Logic website for further information and details on workshop prices.

Important Notice:
Please make sure you bring a laptop to the workshop. This should include two USB ports and Windows XP, as a minimum requirement.
