ARM NEON technology is a 128 bit SIMD (Single Instruction, Multiple Data) architecture extension for the ARM Cortex-A series processors, designed to provide flexible and powerful acceleration for intensive multimedia applications. Attendees of this workshop will learn techniques to use aligned and unaligned data access for efficient vectorization of SIMD operations, Integer and floating point operations, multiple views of the NEON register file to enable efficient handling of data and minimize access to memory for data throughput performance.
