Product Information Device Database® Downloads Compliance Testing Distributors | Peripheral SimulationFor Atmel AT91SAM7XC128 — Reset Controller Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of: - Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.
These simulation capabilities are described below. Reset Controller Dialog
The Reset Controller Dialog shows the current state of the on-chip Reset Controller. You can change Reset Controller settings using the controls in this dialog. Control - RSTC_CR (Control Register) holds the parameters that control the reset controller. They are:
- PROCRST (Processor Reset) resets the processor.
- PERRST (Peripheral Reset) resets the peripherals.
- EXTRST (External Reset) triggers the NRST pin.
Status - RSTC_SR (Status Register) holds the following settings:
- RSTTYP (Reset Type) displays the cause of the last reset.
- URSTS (User Reset Status) when at least one high-to-low transition of NRST has occurred.
- BODSTS (Brownout Detection Status) when brown-out high-to-low transition has occurred
- NRSTL (NRST Pin Level) when the master clock registers the NRST pin level.
- SRCMP (Software Reset Command in Progress) when a software reset command is being performed.
Mode - RSTC_MR (Mode Register) holds the following values:
- ERSTL (External Reset Length) to allow a reset duration of 60 µseconds to 2 seconds.
- KEY should be written at value 0xA5.
- URSTEN (User Reset Enabled) enables User Reset (NRST)
- URSTIEN (User Reset Interrupt Enabled) triggers an interrupt on a User Reset.
- BODIEN (Brownout Detection Enabled) triggers an interrupt on a brownout condition.
Core Power Supply - VDDCORE (Core Power Supply Voltage) displays the core power supply value in Volts.
Brownout Threshold - VBOT displays the brownout threshold value in Volts.
Reset Pin - NRST (Microcontroller Reset pin) displays signal level of this pin.
