Peripheral Data Controller Dialog

Peripheral Data Controller

The Peripheral Data Controller Dialog shows the current state of the on-chip Peripheral Data Controller. You may select the PDC from the list and change PDC settings using the controls in this dialog.

Selected PDC

  • pdc_RPR (Transmit/Receive Pointer Register) contains the address of the next transfer.
  • pdc_RNPR (Transmit/Receive Next Pointer Register) contains the address of the next buffer to use when the current buffer fills.
  • pdc_RCR (Receive Counter Register) contains the number of transfers to be performed.
  • pdc_RNCR (Transmit/Receive Next Counter Register) contains the size of the next buffer to be transferred.
  • RTXEN/TXTEN (Transmitter/Receiver Enable) enables the transmitter or receiver for PDC transfers.
  • RXTDIS/TXTDIS (Transmitter/Receiver Disable) disables the transmitter or receiver for PDC transfers.
