These simulation capabilities are described below. Watchdog Timer Dialog
The Watchdog Timer dialog shows the current state of the on-chip Watchdog Timer. You can change watchdog settings using the controls in this dialog. Watchdog Timer - Time-Out holds the Watchdog Timer time-out setting value.
- Overflow in holds the number of clocks until the Watchdog Timer overflows.
- Reset in holds the number of clocks until the Watchdog Timer triggers an MCU reset.
- WDCON (Watchdog Timer Control Register) contains the current watchdog timer control bit settings below.
- EWT (Enable Watchdog Timer) is set to allow the Watchdog Timer to reset itself.
- RWT (Reset Watchdog Timer) is set to reset the Watchdog Timer timeout count.
- WDIF (Watchdog Interrupt Flag) is set when a Watchdog Timer has timed out and triggered an interrupt.
- WTRF (Watchdog Timer Reset Flag ) is set when a Watchdog Timer reset occurs.
