Peripheral Simulation

For NXP (founded by Philips) LPC2148 — Memory Accelerator Module (MAM)

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

Memory Accelerator Module Dialog

Memory Accelerator Module

The Memory Accelerator Module (MAM) dialog configures the on-chip Memory Accelerator Module. The MAM is useful in improving ARM processor performance when running program from Flash memory. The following groups control the simulation of the MAM:

MAM Control Group

  • MAMCR (MAM Control Register) controls the operating mode of the MAM.
  • Mode displays the current MAM mode.

MAM Timing Group

  • MAMTIM (MAM Timing Register) sets the number of processor clocks(CCLK) for each MAM fetch cycle.
  • Fetch displays the current MAM timing setting.
