Peripheral Simulation

For NXP (founded by Philips) P89LPC936 — EEPROM Data Memory

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

Data EEPROM Dialog

Data EEPROM

The Data EEPROM dialog displays and allows you to edit the configuration of the on-chip EEPROM memory.

Control Register Group

  • DEECON (Data EEPROM Control Register) contains the following control bits:
  • EEIF (Data EEPROM Interrupt Flag) is set when a EEPROM read or write completes.
  • EADR8 (EEPROM Address Bit 8) is the most significant bit of the data address. This bit extends the DDEADR up to 512 bytes.
  • ECTL (Operation Mode Selection) selects the way the EEPROM is accessed: by Byte, Row (64 bytes) or Block (512 bytes).

Address Register Group

  • DEEADR (Data EEPROM Address Register) coantains the lower 8-bits of the data address to be written or read.

Data Register Group

  • DEEDATA (EEPROM Data Register) contains the data to be stored in EEPROM by the method specified by ECTL.

EEPROM Status Group

  • Status indicates the text status of the EEPROM controller.
