Peripheral Simulation

For Analog Devices ADuC7027 — PWM (3-phase)

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

Three-Phase PWM Dialog

Three-Phase PWM

The Three-Phase PWM dialog configures Three-Phase Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) simulation for the ADuC7000 series devices. The PWM generator contains its own timing unit and is not dependent on any of the CPU Timers. Full simulation is supported using the following controls:

PWM Control Group

  • PWMCON (PWM Control Register) contains the following controls:
  • PWMEN (PWM Enable) is set to enable the PWM controller.
  • PWMSYNCEN (PWM Synchronization )
  • PWMDBL ()
  • PWMEXTSYNC ()
  • PWMSYNCSEL ()

PWM Status Group

  • PWMSTA (PWM Status Register)
  • PWSYNCINT ()
  • PWMTRIPINT ()
  • PWMTRIP ()
  • PWMPHASE ()

PWM Switch Frequency Group

  • PWMDAT0 ()
  • Freq. (Frequency)

PWM Switch Daed Time Group

  • PWMDAT1 ()
  • Time

PWM Duty Cycles Group

  • PWMCH0 (PWM Channel 0)
  • PWMCH1 (PWM Channel 1)
  • PWMCH2 (PWM Channel 2)

PWM Pulse Sync Width Group

  • PWMDAT2 ()
  • Time

PWM Gate Chopping Group

  • PWMCFG (PWM Configuration Register)
  • GDCLK ()
  • Freq. ()
  • CHOPHI ()
  • CHOPLO ()

PWM Output Enable Group

  • PWMEN (PWM Output Enable) is set to enable any of the six the PWM controller output signals.</</li>
