Peripheral Simulation

For Infineon SAB 83C517A-5 — Compare Register CM0-7

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

Compare Register CM0-7 Dialog

Compare Register CM0-7

The Compare Register CM0-7 Dialog controls a set of compare registers that can work with either Timer 2 or the compare timer. They are configured as follows:

Selected Compare Register Group

  • CMx (Compare Registers 0-7) holds the comparison values that are matched with the selected timer.
  • CMSELx (Compare Timer Select) bits 0 - 7 define the timer to use for each corresponding register. If a bit is set, the compare function uses the compare timer. If a bit is reset, the compare function uses Timer 2.
  • CMENx (Compare Enable) if set, bits 0 - 7 enable the compare function for a corresponding register.
  • ICMPx (Compare Timer Match Interrupt Flags) sets bits 0 - 7 when the compare function is enabled and a match event occurs. These flags must be cleared by software.
  • CMx Pin sets or clears the state of port pins CM0-CM7.
