Peripheral Simulation

For Infineon C167CS-4RM — Timer Block GPT1 (T2, T3, T4)

Simulation support for this peripheral or feature is comprised of:

  • Dialog boxes which display and allow you to change peripheral configuration.

These simulation capabilities are described below.

Timer/Counter 2 Dialog

Timer/Counter 2

The Timer/Counter 2 dialog allows you to view and change the SFRs associated with Timer/Counter 2. This timer/counter is a general purpose unit which may be used for timing, counting, and so on.

  • Mode contains the operating mode and the input selector for the timer.
  • T2UDE is the external up/down control enable.
  • T2EUD is the external up/down control input. This value is obtained from the T2EUD input pin.
  • T2UD is the timer up/down control.
  • Direction displays whether the timer/counter counts up or down.
  • Status displays the current status of the timer.
  • T2 contains the value of the T2 SFR which is the current timer value or count.
  • T2CON contains the value of the T2CON SFR which is the current configuration for timer 2.
  • T2R is the Timer 2 Run flag.
  • T2IN is the Timer 2 Input value.
  • T2IR is the Timer 2 Interrupt Request flag.

Timer/Counter 3 Dialog

Timer/Counter 3

The Timer/Counter 3 dialog allows you to view and change the SFRs associated with Timer/Counter 3. This timer/counter is a general purpose unit which may be used for timing, counting, and so on.

  • Mode contains the operating mode and the input selector for the timer.
  • T3UDE is the external up/down control enable.
