Rigel Corporation R-51SP

The R-51SP is small (1.2" x 2.25") two-layer board designed for embedded applications using an 8051 in the single-chip mode. It is low cost and flexible, making it ideal as an embedded controller. The R-51SP has 32 I/O lines and one or two serial ports, (two when used with the DS87C520/DS89C420). The board can be used with a wide variety of preprogrammed 8x5x processors in the 44 pin PLCC package. These include chips by Intel, Philips, Infineon, Atmel, SST, and ISSI (for 40 pin dip chips see our R-51SD).
