Standard MicroSystems Corporation (SMSC) EVB-97CFDC Evaluation Board

SMSC's EVB-97CFDC Evaluation Board is intended to provide a platform by which customers may evaluate the device and its available application software. Features of the board include:

• Support for Two Mode or Three Mode Floppy Disk Drives (ie 1.44MB, 720/640KB, and 1.2MB)
• Power FET for Drive Mechanics Power Control (500ma Max)
• 5V or 3.3V System Operation, Either Bus or Self-Powered
• Self-Powered Option Uses Standard Drive Supply (5V)
• Provisions for Use of Drive Density Select and Drive Ready Controls
