Goal Semiconductor VERSA1 Development Kit

The VERSA1 Development kit offers a fast and effective way for users to evaluate the VERSA1 from Goal Semiconductor. The kit not only serves as a VERSA1 programming platform, but with its large, on-board prototyping area, it also allows users to develop the appropriate prototypes by providing access to VERSA1 interfaces. VERSA1 DevBoard Features

  • Open-top ZIF socket for easy installation and removal of the VERSA1 IC
  • Large user prototyping area and access to DevBoard analog supply and ground
  • Debounced tact switches allowing manual Reset and Interrupt of the VERSA1
  • Configuration jumpers to allow connection of the VERSA1 peripherals to the DevBoard support circuitry
  • On board RS232 Transceiver
  • On board J1708 Transceiver with interface circuitry
  • One DB9 Serial Port connector to interface with the GoalTender programming software
  • One DB9 Serial Port connector allowing communication through VERSA1 UART
  • Headers to permit external link to most VERSA1 pins
  • Two on board voltage regulators (Analog/Digital Supply)
  • Two Op-Amps for use in prototyping
  • On board resistors (precision optional) and access to connect an external thermistor to the DevBoard
