SMSC's EVB-97C102 Evaluation Board provides a platform by which customers may evaluate the USB97C102 microcontroller and its available application software. Features include:
- FDC37C672 Super I/O with Keyboard, Mouse, Dual Serial Ports, 1284 Parallel Port, Optional IR Port, and 3-Mode FDC
- Power and Control for the USB97C102's Four Downstream USB Hub Ports
- Game Port Emulation for Analog Joystick Implementations
- Two ISA Slots to Allow Custom Software Development for Any Existing ISA Form Factor Peripheral or Controller
- LCD Diagnostic Panel for Code Monitoring During Debug
- Provisions for Program Flash, ROM, or SRAM Memory Types
- Provisions for ISA Peripheral Bus SRAM for Use in Peripheral Caching Schemes
SMSC's EVB-97CFDC Evaluation Board is intended to provide a platform by which customers may evaluate the device and its available application software. Features of the board include:
- Support for Two Mode or Three Mode Floppy Disk Drives (ie 1.44MB, 720/640KB, and 1.2MB)
- Power FET for Drive Mechanics Power Control (500ma Max)
- 5V or 3.3V System Operation, Either Bus or Self-Powered
- Self-Powered Option Uses Standard Drive Supply (5V)
