Using Renesas EK-RA6M3 with Keil MDK

This hands-on tutorial introduces you to the Renesas RA Cortex-M4 processor family using the Keil MDK toolkit and µVision IDE. The Keil Blinky example activating LEDs is may be downloaded from this web page using the link below. It is compliant to Cortex Microcontroller Software Interface Standard (CMSIS 5.0). Debugging using Serial Wire Viewer data trace, Event Recorder, Power Measurement, ETM Instruction Trace and the Renesas RA Smart Configurator (RASC) are shown in detail.

The Renesas EK-RA6M3 evaluation board, which includes an on-board, J-Link adapter for downloading and debugging, a USB A to microB cable, and an MDK installation are required. ULINK2, ULINK-ME, ULINKplus or ULINKpro Flash programming capability will be available soon. The ULINKpro and ULINKplus adapters provide the best performance and support Interrupt handling and timing display.
